Cascadia Syrah

The wine in this months case comes from a single vineyard estate who specialise in the Syrah grape variety. The mederately cool temperature and long sunshine hours of the Yakima Valley help to ensure a long slow ripening period for the grapes which contribute to the wines full body and complex aromatic nature.

This dark concentrated Syrah spends 14 months aging in a variety of French oak barrels and possesses flavours of dark berry, clove and white pepper which coat the palate with a plush round mouthfeel, leading to a silky-smooth finish.
