Day 18: Dreaming of a white (Burgundy) Christmas?
This Chassagne Montrachet is a real winner for Eilidh as it is bright yet rich, buttery yet elegant. A real showstopper of a wine.
In terms of a food match, we think that the richness of the wine works brilliantly well with rich dishes such as christmas dinner. We would also recommend not over chilling it as it dulls some of the character of the wine so pop it in the fridge for half an hour and you will be good to go. Enjoy!
