Low Alcohol Wines, A New Trend?

In our quest to offer great quality wines of a lower ABV we turned to Pierrick Harang, an excellent boutique winemaker based in the Languedoc region of south-west France. As well as a whole range of traditional, full-bodied wines, Pierrick has used his passion and expertise to craft the Petit Balthazar range which accommodate those who prefer lower strength wines, whilst still maintaining the fresh, fruit-driven character of the grape varieties. This Merlot is soft, fruity and expressive whilst only clocking in at 11% ABV and 88 calories per glass!
