Wines in Unexpected Places

01 Feb 2020

The flagship wines of Chateau Musar are full bodied, rich and have many years of ageing potential. They are revered as superb, unique, food friendly wines and are often hard to come by after leaner vintages.

The wines that we have included in this month's case are something of a departure from that style, whilst still retaining the underlying character that makes Chateau Musar what it is. First produced in 2007, these unoaked, vibrantly fruity wines, made from the fruit of youthful Bekaa Valley vines, were introduced to meet the demand for a ‘current drinking’ Musar range. If you enjoy these wines then I would highly recommend trying a bottle from the Hochar or Musar ranges!
