Santenay

Santenay is an unsung appellation on the rise, which makes for that rarest of combinations in Burgundy: good wines at a sensible price. It has been largely known for its reds, but Chardonnay can do well here too.

There are no Grand Cru vineyards, however, Santaenay has 12 vineyards classed as Premier Cru. the wines may be labeled as Santenay Premier Cru, in which case the wines has been blended from the other Premier Cru Vineyards.
