Pinot Blanc

Pinot Blanc is a white grape widely planted and cultivated in Alsace, which can also be found in Austria (Wachau) and Germany, where it is hailed as Weissburgunder, Italy and Hungary (where it is often used to make export wines as an alternative to the local varieties).

Pinot Blanc was once commonly used in Burgundy and Champagne, but has been deprived of this function.
