Riviera del Garda Bresciano or Garda Bresciano refers to wine produced on the western side of Lake Garda, north eastern Italy. White wines are made from two strains of Riesling, Welschriesling and 'true' Rhine. They're light, refreshing and aromatic. The reds are made from Gropello, Sangiovese and Marzemino. Rose styles are made both still and sparkling and have a distinctive bitter almond profile. The climate is continental yet tempered by the lake's influence.
