The Puy Blanquet estate is owned by Madame Marcelle Jacquet, and sits on the eastern side of Saint Émilion, a town renowed for its local wines, attracting thousands of tourists annually to sample them. This area’s clay soils are mixed with limestone, imparting both concentration and perfume to the wines.

For this wine in particular, although five years old, it's still ageing gracefully, drinking well now or can be cellared.
