Campbeltown

Campbeltown

The Campbeltown style is a marriage between highland peat and depth with the saltiness of a coastal. Very few distilleries remain on this outcrop of a penninsula, Springbank being the most well known. Before prohibition in the 1920's-30's, this style and distilling area was much more common. Since then, the style has never recovered.
