Mezcal dates from the middle of the 16th Century, when the Spanish conquistadors had conquered the New World. When they ran out of the traditional rum, the battle-scarred fighters looked for something else to celebrate with. The Aztecs, near the mountain top settlement of Monte Alban in Iaxaca, had cultivated a certain species of agave cactus, the juice of which they would ferment into what they called pulque. The Spaniards, wanting something more potent than pulque began to experiment with the agave.

The quality of our packaging ensures the wine arrives safe and sound, it is full compostable or recyclable.
Your order will be packed and processed and delivered within 3 to 4 working days, subject to stock availability or any queries we may have on the order.
Click and Collect : Click and collect is available from our shop between 9.30am and 5.00 pm Monday to Saturday.
Single Bottle Delivery: We offer single bottle delivery on 75cl sizes or less for £7.50 per address to the UK mainland on a track and trace service. Allow 3 to 4 working days. Subject to postcode.
FREE Standard Delivery on orders over £145*: We offer free delivery to the UK mainland with 3 to 4 working days, subject to postcode, on all orders over £145 to an individual address which can be either your home or place of work subject to postcode. Please see the Zone Surcharge below.
Weekend, Next Day and Times Delivery: Should you require a Saturday or timed delivery please give us a call or select the delivery option on the check out screen.
Deliveries under £145: Deliveries under £145 are charged at £12.95 per address subject to postcode.
Delivery Surcharge*: We would love to be able to deliver free to all locations in the UK, unfortunately our carriers charge more for people who live in some of the most beautiful, remote areas of the UK. Please see the zone surcharge below.
