Founded in 1999 by Ricardo Reinoso Bodegas y Viñedos Tobelos is located in the very north of Rioja in a truly magical place and commands spectacular views over the River Ebro. Only completed in 2003, the winery would not look out of place on an episode of Grand Designs.
All the fruit for their wines are sourced from the higher, cooler climate vineyard locations of Rioja with much of the production based around Tempranillo.
All the grapes are hand selected before pressing and the split of French and American oak barrels are carefully rotated every 4 to 5 years to help produce elegant collection of wines.
