Zuidam Liqueurs are still made in the traditional artisanal way and all the recipes are created by father, Fred, and son, Patrick, van Zuidam. This Chocolat Liqueur is made by macerating Cocoa Beans. Over a period of many months the alcohol dissolves the flavour of the cocoa beans which is then combined with an extract of Bourbon Vanilla pods, sugar and a 3 star Cognac. Zuidam use substantially large amount of cocoa beans to achieve the amazing rich flavour of Dark Chocolat – a liqueur for those who love chocolate!
