I’ve always maintained that one of the primary purposes of the Weavers wine club should be to introduce new things to members and it seems that you agree. With this in mind you’ll find some interesting inclusions in this month’s selection too, with one eye on Christmas also. I love any feedback, good or bad, and base future decisions upon it, so please do get in contact with any comments you have about your membership.
So, Christmas is now upon us and it will come as no surprise to you that things are absolutely manic at Weavers as we attempt to administer our own brand of organised chaos and ensure that all our customers are well looked after. I, and for that matter all the staff here, thrive on the challenges that this time of year brings and we are only too happy to help you with your festive plans. Whether it be gift ideas, or organising Christmas drinks for personal consumption, we’re on hand with plenty of suggestions and recommendations so please give us a call or pop into the shop. We brought plenty of Christmas cheer last year with our in-store tastings and will do the same this year so please come down and try the interesting wines, spirits and liqueurs that we have available to try.
In addition to the wines you will also find a selection pack of jams in this month’s case, a little Christmas treat from the Weavers team. A big thank you for all your support through 2011 They are made from grape varieties that are normally reserved for wine and port, and are great fun as well as delicious. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did (see page 10 for details of how we selected them).
If I don’t see you before, have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
