For this month’s selection I’ve tried to put together an eclectic mix of styles as opposed to wines that have some sort of connection. I’ve always found the contrast between different styles of wine as fascinating as the similarities so I hope you will also enjoy trying some of the varied characteristics that the world of wine has to offer.
As much as I hate to admit it, we’re starting to talk about Christmas in the office as we have to begin putting everything in place to ensure that we’re ready for the inevitable chaos the season brings. That’s not to say that we don't have other things still to come, there are still a handful of tickets left for the Pioneering Winemakers of the World tasting in November which promises to be good. On top of that I've just organised a very interesting looking wine and food night in association with The Larder on Goosegate so keep an eye on weaverswines.com/tastings for more information.
