La Bascula means “weighing scales” which are depicted on the label, which is entirely appropriate as all the wines show a wonderful balance between high fruit quality and world class winemaking.. (La Bascula also means a large weighbridge for lorries but maybe that wouldn’t have looked so good on the label!) I hope you enjoy this innovative blend.

Garnacha Blanca

This is a lightly coloured form of Garnacha that you’ve probably tried without realising as part of a Rioja blend.

Whilst often included as part of a blend, it can produce impressive results as a single varietal if vinified correctly.

Outside of Spain it can often be included in blends from the Languedoc-Roussillon or Rhone Valley. It is arguably the most important white varietal from the Appellation of
Châteauneuf du Pape.
