The Botter family have been in the wine trade since 1928, when Carlo Botter started the business. It is now run by the second and third generations of his family (pictured right), with his grandson Allessandro in charge of securing the juice is sourced from private and co-operatives all over Italy. It is Carlo’s other grandchildren, Anna Lisa and Luca, that we have to thank for the Verdicciho being on our list, as they head up the export part of the business, which makes up 90% of all they do.
