So what have we gone for in this case? Look out for the compare and contrast wines from the Southern Rhone, two cracking examples of the robust style of wines that are produced there. A new Pinot Noir from New Zealand makes an appearance which is be perfect for Christmas, with an ideal accompaniment from either South Africa or the Loire.
During the autumn half term in October, I took the family over to Southern Portugal. I tried some fanatsctic wine whilst I was there and I am sure that some of these wines will star in some of next year's cases. One of the standout wines from the trip was from the Terra de Lobos range. It wasn't a hard decision to include it in the Christmas case, I hope that you will enjoy them as much as I did (and do).
As a thank you for your continued support, please find a miniature bottle of Frapin VSOP, a Grande Champagne Cognac from the heart of the region. I was never a brandy drinker until I tasted this and I hope that you find a moment to sit back, relax and enjoy this wonderful spirit.
Once again, a big thank you for your support over 2013 and I hope that you are looking forward to 2014 as much as I am.
