Those big, powerful reds are great but I think there is still a case to be made for the lighter styles and that is why I was pleased to see the Murphy Big Rivers range return to the Weavers portfolio earlier last year.

Situated in the Murray Darling region of Australia, the Murphy family have been producing wine since 1908. Whilst their aim is to produce fruit-driven attractive wines, they don't lose sight of the need for varietal expression, with both the Chardonnay and Shiraz showing the characteristics that have come to define them.
