Mitchell have four vineyards locations in the Clare Valley, one of the cooler regions of South Australia. Their vineyards fall in a range between 350 to 450 metres. Peter Micholl Mitchel, Andrew's grandfather, did much work to improve the quality of the vineyards. He adopted an almost biodynamic approach to his wine making believing, rightly so, that it is good to creepy crawlies about in the vineyard. The Shiraz selected for your case is named in his honour.
