Albert Bichot traces his wine making heritage back to the 1350s when his family first established themselves in southern Burgundy. It was in the 1800s when the family moved into the wine trade acting as an agent and broker for growers in the region. Today he owns four domains in Burgundy including Domaine Long-Depaquit, whcih is his Chablis estate. This estate was founded 1791 and has built a reputation as one of the top estates in Chablis, producing wines from 160 acres of vineyard.
