After sampling and thoroughly enjoying the offerings of one of the many tasting tables my eye was caught by this rather unusual bottle. Each bottle has an individual Troubadour or musician on the label as this old vine tempranillo pays tribute to the traditional relationship between the wines and music of Spain.
This wine is harvested from 100% Tempranillo and comes exclusively from vines of a minimum of 40 years age. The vineyards are extremely steep which means that every grape must be harvested by hand. This stylish wine has ripe red fruit aromas on the nose which develop into nutty, chocolate flavours on the palate.
