The brothers split responsibility with George on hand in the Vineyards and Danie looking after the business side of things. It’s a partnership that is flourishing if the quality of the wines is anything to go by!
Stellenbosch
Probably South Africa’s most famous wine-producing region, Stellenbosch enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and cool wet winters. It sits in the shadow of the Cape Fold mountain range and benefits from the unique soil type found here. The cooling micro-climates of the coast also allows grapes to thrive, making this perfect for wine production. South Africa’s second oldest wine-producing region, vines were first planted here in 1679.
