The property itself is situated in the commune of Pujols which is just south of Saint-Emilion. This is reflected in the high percentage of Merlot used in the blend which gives the wine its soft, plummy character and velvety mouth feel. The blend is then beefed up with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon which adds hint of blackberry and then 10% Cabernet Franc to knit the two together.
