The new Chilean wines are really good news and a perfect for barbecues because of their versatility and easy-drinking styles. I've also always felt the Plaimont wines' strength comes from their versatility, great on their own or with food. They're also brilliant for the fact that they give a great expression of the region through the use of indigenous grapes. Long-standing members of the Wine Club are well aware of my love for Plaimont, I make no apologies.
This year's Wine Club Members tasting is another sellout, thanks to everyone that has bought a ticket, it's going to be a great evening once again. Also, don't forget about the Grand Tasting at the contemporary on 8th November, grab your tickets as soon as you can as this will also inevitably sell out.
I hope you enjoy the case, don't forget to check out all the extra info that we have online about this month's case at weaverswines.com/wineclub.
Thanks for your ongoing support,
Philip, and everyone at Weavers
