Squinzano Riserva is A classic Negroamaro based wine from the greatly named town of Squinzano! An extra year of aging in a mixture of barrique and big oak barrels locally refered to as “botti” gives this wine a rich dark chocolate aroma with dried fruits with hints of vanilla flavour on the palate. When it comes to food and wine matching think big red meat dishes, strongly flavoured cured meats, and pungent Italian cheeses.
