The white featured in this month's case is made from a blend of Garganega and Cortese (the grape most widely associated with Gavi) from a vineyard on the eastern side of Lake Garda. The wine itself has a bright, fresh, fruity expression which typifies the style of the region and goes beautifully with the local cuisine.
Lenotti's signature red wine, Rosso Passo, is made from Merlot and Sangiovese, blended in equal measure, from vineyards on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. It is a smooth and mellow wine and combines the soft plummy fruit character and velvety tannins of Merlot with the distinctly Italian sour cherry influence of Sangiovese, creating a perfect accompaniment to traditional tangy tomato-based Italian fare.
