Eilidh Discovers A 'New' Wine

I recently headed down to London on mission to discover some new Spanish wines for the Weavers range. My companion for the day was Eilidh, the latest edition to the Weavers team. Although not totally au fait with the Weavers range yet, she proved a great help when she discovered an exciting new Crianza Rioja that she felt would be a great addition. She couldn't have been more right and I was delighted to discover the 'new' wine in question was a Weavers favourite - Tobelos.

The new vintage is absolutely stunning and with easter dinner in mind, and roast lamb inevitably gracing the tables of many a wine club member, we've chosen a real Weavers classic as a perfect accompaniment.

Tobelos

Only completed in 2003, the winery would not look out of place on an episode of Grand Designs. A truly magical place, commanding spectacular views over the River Ebro. One of the most northerly Bodegas in Rioja, Bodegas y Viñedos Tobelos produces wines that are soft and juicy and will be the ideal partner to a roast lamb lunch, a following cheeseboard or even left over cold cuts the following day. I hope you love it as much as me.
