Their first release was Luis Felipe Edwards Cabernet Sauvignon 1994 and their attention to detail and commitment to quality is such that Luis Felipe Edwards wines win awards throughout the world. Many of the family are involved in the company including the founder, Luis Felipe Edwards Sr, and his son, Luis Felipe Edwards Jr.
Todays expression of the original Luis Felipe Edwards wine shows delightful ripe blackcurrant and summer berry flavours, which are backed up by a pervading spice that carries through to the finish.
An excellent white which is packed with ripe tropical fruit flavours, offering layers of pineapple, citrus and a splash of honey. The warm sunny climate in which the grapes are grown are perfect for ensuring that they achieve optimum ripeness. This allows all the most derireable aromas to develop during the vinification process.
