Award Winning Wines from LFE

Viña Luis Felipe Edwards was founded in 1976 when Luis Felipe Edwards Sr bought the Fundo San José de Puquillay estate, a sixty hectare estate in the Colchagua Valley, Chile, and decided to launch a wine under his own name. It was here where he built and developed his winery, and today their modern production complex at Puquillay comprises of four wineries and a barrel cellar, in addition to the original historic cellars of the old estate.

Their first release was Luis Felipe Edwards Cabernet Sauvignon 1994 and their attention to detail and commitment to quality is such that Luis Felipe Edwards wines win awards throughout the world. Many of the family are involved in the company including the founder, Luis Felipe Edwards Sr, and his son, Luis Felipe Edwards Jr.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Todays expression of the original Luis Felipe Edwards wine shows delightful ripe blackcurrant and summer berry flavours, which are backed up by a pervading spice that carries through to the finish.

Chardonnay

An excellent white which is packed with ripe tropical fruit flavours, offering layers of pineapple, citrus and a splash of honey. The warm sunny climate in which the grapes are grown are perfect for ensuring that they achieve optimum ripeness. This allows all the most derireable aromas to develop during the vinification process.
