This historically important region is the homeland of the ancient Samnite people, and is a land of undulating hills and plains which even has its own particular micro-climate that protects it from the excesses of heat and cold. As is usually the case in Italian wine-making they concentrate almost exclusively on local indigenous grape varieties and commit themselves wholeheartedly to producing quality wines which reflect the cuisine and terroir of the region.

Falanghina di Sannio

The wine has a straw-yellow colour and a strong fruity bouquet. The fruity nuances increase progressively leaving a well-balanced, pleasant and refreshing finish. Ideal with light appetizers, gnocchi or home-made pasta with tomato sauce.

Aglianico

The wine has a deep colour with garnet hints. Cherry nuances melt with sweet vanilla notes given by ageing in the wood. In the mouth it is full, powerful and intense with a light and soft tannic structure that enhances a good finish. Ideal with pasta with tomato and meat sauce and vegetables and soups.
