Hello and welcome to June's Wine Club Case! The last time I wrote this booklet I was lamenting one of the coldest, stormiest springs on record. It therefore gives me great pleasure to be able to write this whilst enjoying glorious sunshine and able to focus on the beautiful, warm weather wines, which we hope you will be able to enjoy during the glorious summer which surely lies ahead.

To kick off this month's case we have a superb pair of warm climate wines from the island of Sicily, which are born from two of the islands major local grape varieties, Nero d'Avola and Grilo.
We then head over to Portugal and a pair of wines from an excellent new producer who we are extremely excited to be welcoming to the Weavers range. For those of you who have come along to one of our tastings you will know how passionate I am about the emerging wines from Portugal and I'm confident that after tasting these wines you will be too.
We then come far closer to home with a wine made at the historic Renishaw Hall estate in Derbyshire. It may interest you to know that up until 1986 these were certified the most northern vineyards in the world at 53 degrees 18 minutes north!
Finally we have opted for something of a Weavers classic in the Mitchells Perppertree Shiraz from the Clare Valley in Australia. We have been working with the Mitchell estate for a number of years now and I was recently reminded of the sheer quality and depth of their wines at a tasting I attended.
Thank you for your continued support of the Wine Club and remember that the annual Wine Club Members Tasting takes place on Friday 13th July and tickets are selling fast, so buy soon to avoid disappointment. We hope to see you there!
