This is a 100% old vine Verdejo from the Rueda region of Spain. Often seen purely as a table variety it is a real testiment to the skill of the winemaker that he has been able to produce such a concentrated and complex wine. Using wild yeasts and a multitude of oak casks and inert vessels the wine is aged for 9 months before bottling.
