This classic style of claret is produced by the Dubourg family whose vineyards lie on a clay and limestone plateau, 35 km south of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Garonne. Head wine maker Benoit Dubourg represents the third generation of the family to produce wine here. Under his stewardship the property has continued to expand by planting new vines, the acquisition of high performance wine making equipment, and by the construction of new facilities.
This well structured claret consists of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Merlot, giving it a well balanced dark fruit nose and velvety mouth feel. Try served with grilled meats, roasts and cheese.
