The Return of an Old Favourite

The Return of an Old Favourite

Robertson is nestled in a valley of abundance, from the sun-drenched mountain vineyards growing select varietals, to plentiful river valley vineyards heavy with fruit. But more than the land and the climate, it’s the people who’ve always left the greatest impression. We are pleased to be able to say that we have been importing wines from these producers for many years and the superb consistency of quality and value continues to impress.

Chenin Blanc

The first thing that you notice about this wine is the appealing light straw colour. Light with lovely ripe, attractive rounded fruit flavours and a fresh floral nose which leads on to an expressive and pleasant finish. Perfect served on its own, but equally good with seafood, smoked salmon, roast chicken and pork.

Shiraz

On the nose there are delightful wild herb, spicy undertones, black pepper and vanilla notes. This elegant wine is well balanced and a beautiful plum colour and a long silky finish. Drink now but will develop over the next two to three years.
