By the time that this case reaches you we will be well into 2019 and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and prosperous next 12 months. It is usually at this time that I take some time to think about what the coming year may have in store for the wine trade and as with the previous couple of years we keep hearing one word over and over again, uncertainty. Whist it is impossible to predict what may happen on many different fronts it is worth pointing out that the people of Britain have been enjoying wines from all over the world through many a challenging circumstance and I am confident that we will once again be able to rise to any challenges that 2019 throws our way.

The year ahead will certainly demand adaptation and innovation, ideas that are represented in this month's case through the inclusion of a white Tempranillo from Rioja. This is an incredibly rare wine which has recently won prestigious awards for both its quality and individuality.

We have also opted for a number of wines from Chile and Argentina, some of which showcase what have become classic styles for those nations and others which allude to the constantly evolving nature of wine production and the demands of the market.

I would also like to take this opportunity to announce that we have now released our full schedule of tastings for the coming year, the details of which are available to view on our website.

I hope you have a fantastic 2019
