The Torreon de la Abadia featured in this months case is a belnd of Spains most planted grape variety Airen and the internationally recognised Sauvignon Blanc. It is an extremely fresh, vibrant wine designed to be consumed whilst young and would be a perfect accompaniment to local seafood and tapas dishes. Apples and pears are prevalent on the nose and are eccentuated by a cremy texture on the palate. An excellent summer wine.
