Lamb

Lamb is one of the few meats globally acceptable to many religious communities, which is why it appears in many ethnic dishes (see our World Food Section). Lamb will work with most reds, here are a few quick tips.

Chops - Look for the better quality reds from Rioja and Bordeaux or better quauiltiy Tuscan wines. New World Cabernets and Shiraz will work but also look at Malbecs from South America.

Roasted - Clarets again work here but look at red Burgundy as well. Rhone and New World Merlots are great as well.
