Nuits-St-Georges

The Côte de Nuits takes its name from the famous village of Nuits-St-Georges at its southern tip, but there is not a grand cru to be found in this comparatively large area. Quality, as well as style, can be highly variable in Nuits-St-Georges but at its best is worthy of its fame.
