This is a traditional sake, made using high quality Gohyakumangoku rice that has been only lightly milled removing only 30% of the outer (bran) layer of the rice. Lighter in style than other sakes, this has a crisp, dry and easy to drink style with hints

The Koji-kin mould is used in sake brewing to break down the rice starch molecules into sugar molecules. These sugars can then be used as food by the yeast cells. The type of yeast used in the brewing process significantly effects the flavour and fragrance.

FREE Standard Delivery on orders over £145*: We offer free delivery to the UK mainland with 3 to 4 working days, subject to postcode, on all orders over £145 to an individual address which can be either your home or place of work subject to postcode. Please see the Zone Surcharge below. Weekend, Next Day and Times Delivery: Should you require a Saturday or timed delivery please give us a call or select the delivery option on the check out screen. Deliveries under £145: Deliveries under £145 are charged at £12.95 per address subject to postcode. Delivery Surcharge*: We would love to be able to deliver free to all locations in the UK, unfortunately our carriers charge more for people who live in some of the most beautiful, remote areas of the UK.
