Starters

When matching your wine with your starter, remember the serving order. Try to start with your white wine before your reds and to server the lighter wines before your heavier ones.

One important rule you should not forget is that should your starter require a big red wine try to avoid serving a light white with the main course. Perhaps you could continue with this wine or a similar style, through the rest of the dinner.
