Trincadeira
You've probably noticed that this wine is a blend of Syrah and Trincadeira, the latter of which you will be forgiven for not having heard of. It is also known as Tinta Amarela and is often used as part of the blend for Port. Crucially it thrives in a dry hot climate, making the Alentejo region, where Smart Dog is made, perfect for it's cultivation.
