Derived from premier vineyards in Pauillac, three out of the initial five classified growths of 1855 hail from this renowned appellation, nestled on top a stunning gravelly hill. This location offers ideal ripening conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, yielding sumptuous, impeccably structured wines. A captivating purple hue with impressive depth, the wine boasts an elegant, intense aroma characterised by notes of black cherry, black currant, and subtle savory notes. On the palate, it presents a full-bodied, fleshiness upon entry, supported by a full structure and culminating in a fresh, aromatic finish replete with red fruit nuances.

Since 1868, the Rothschild family has cultivated wine in Bordeaux, spanning six generations. Over the years, they have intimately acquainted themselves with the region's picturesque landscape and gained a profound understanding of the distinct characteristics of each appellation's vines.
Thirty years ago, they were inspired to embark on a journey to craft a new series of wines, each epitomizing the essence of its respective appellation.
