Rhône Valley Rosé

The first thing that comes to mind when we think about the Rhône Valley is red wine but I thought it might be a bit different to try a rosé given that it’s a summer case. Made from three different grape varieties, this has to be my favourite style of rosé and the French do it very well indeed. In this case each varietal is vinified separately at low temperature using the rosé de press method to obtain a minimum of colour and maximum of fruit flavour. You’re still left with a lovely dry finish though, and this is the style I personally find most appealing.
