We’re big fans of Alan’s wines at Weavers and there’s always a lot of interest in his Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from our customers. I thought it would be good for Wine Club members to try one of his less famous wines as an example, not only of his skill, but also of the diversity there is in the New Zealand Wine industry.
Attention to the tiniest details is the key to the quality of his wines, hand-harvested at maximum flavour intensity, gently pressed and fermented using a blend of modern technology and traditional methods to produce wines of quality and style. You know that Riesling is one of my favourite grape varieties, and I think this example shows why. Enjoy!
