Almost Organic, Chateau Unang

One of the things that caught my eye when I was reading up on Chateau Unang was that they were in the throws of applying for official organic status. The interesting thing here is that, like a lot of wines, they are to all intents and purposes already ’organic’.

Personally I’d like to see something done about the need for ‘official‘ certification in this regard; producers like this should not be made to jump through so many hoops to be able to tell the world they have a natural product. Anyway....soap box away Philip, enjoy this natural and clean tasting wine, it is really delicious.

Mont Ventoux

Those that follow cycling will be looking to Mont Ventoux in the Rhone Valley for a totally different reason this coming summer, as it makes up stage 15 of the Tour de France.
