The origin of Viña Luis Felipe Edwards, the producer of Los Coches, starts in 1976, when Luis Felipe Edwards Sr. purchased the Fundo San José de Puquillay estate. It has since grown to become the largest family-owned wine company in Chile, with 1,850 hectares of estate vineyards and is exported to more than 70 countries, of which the UK is one. This particular wine that we have chosen for you is a Pinot Noir, a notably high maintenance grape variety. What Los Coches have managed to develop, however, is a wine with a delicate body but a depth of flavour through its American oak aging. On the palate are subtle hints of vanilla matched with cherry fruits that work brilliantly with roast lamb or pork on any Sunday.
