Welcome to October's Wine Club Selection. This month we are delighted to introduce a new estate we are working with from South Africa, Seven Springs. Hopefully you will be able to come along to our Grand Tasting at the Galleries of Justice on 8th October where you will be able to meet the owners. Along with Seven Springs, we have a collection of other really good wines to make up the last case before (dare I say) the Christmas selection.

Quite a bit has happened at Weavers in the past few months. It is with sadness that we have had to say cherreiro to Don, our Shop Manager for the past 39 years. He has given us, and our customers, a first class service and I am sure you will join me in wishing him a happy retirement.
You may have seen that Prosecco has featured in the news over the past few months. In June it was announced there was going to be a shortage of grapes and in August the Brits have imported more Prosecco than Champagne for the first time. So where next with Prosecco? Will its bubble burst? In this month's feature article I will reflect on the wines success and its long term future.
As ever, thank you for your continued support with the Wine Club and I hope that you enjoy this selection as much as I have enjoyed selecting it.
